So, you have heard the words “Business Continuity” and are curious as to what exactly is being refereed to in an I.T. environment. The short answer is; the ability to restore company data in the event of an outage or catastrophe. Business Continuity also means the ability to continue with business operations in the event the computer systems are not functional for a period of time.
